Grants from WHIC
1. Grants for Clinics and Hospitals Since 2005, approximately $3 million has been awarded by WHIC to physician practices, health clinics and hospitals in the Pacific Northwest to improve patient care through information technology.
2. Grants to Community Organizations In 2008, WHIC also awarded grants to community groups to spur provider engagement in health IT and community-wide connectivity across health IT systems. These grants were made possible through special funding from the Washington State Health Care Authority.
